Master Computing has been located in Denton for almost 8 years now and we have really come to appreciate it as a fun, unique place to live and do business. There is a sense of community in Denton that we have not found anywhere else. The residents are proud to live here and are quick to tell anyone who will listen about all the city's unique characteristics. From the fun college-town atmosphere, excellent dining options, and one-of-a-kind festivals to the family friendly parks, water park, and diverse array of businesses, Denton really does have it all.
Recently I read the Annual Citizen Update put out by the City of Denton and came across a section where they talked about their award-winning YouTube program, "Denton's Dirty Jobs". I was a huge fan of the Mike Rowe version of Dirty Jobs, so I had to check this out. I was really impressed with what I found. They have posted several episodes that teach about the many people that work for the City of Denton and do jobs that are, well, dirty. Road construction crews, the fire department, animal services, and park maintenance crews are some of the workers that are highlighted in their videos. It is really entertaining and informative stuff. I think if you check it out you will gain a new appreciation about the hard and dirty work that goes on behind the scenes in our beloved Denton that makes it such a great place for all of us to live.
