Today’s tech tip is for the Mac users out there: one of my favorite Mac features is how easy it is to schedule shutdowns and startups for your computer.  All you have to do is:

  • Open Settings, and go to Energy Saver.
  • Click the Schedule button.
  • Check the box next to Start up or wake and Sleep.  If you want the computer to sleep as opposed to shutting down at a given time, change the drop-down box to your desired choice.
  • Select the time that you want each action to happen. Click OK.

You can now close Settings, and your Mac will now follow the schedule you set!
