Cybersecurity Boost Scholarship Terms and Conditions

By applying for the Phoenix IT Advisors Cybersecurity Boost Scholarship ("Program"), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

ELIGIBILITY:
Applicants must:

  • Be the owner, co-owner, or an authorized representative of a legally registered business entity located in Utah.
  • Be a privately owned manufacturing business headquartered along the Wasatch Front.
  • Employ between 10 and 200 people.
  • Be in good standing with state and local licensing and regulatory agencies, with no unresolved legal issues.
  • Be operational and actively conducting lawful business.
  • Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Note: This Program awards in-kind services rather than financial scholarships. ‘Scholarship’ is used to describe the spirit of the award—supporting local businesses with essential cybersecurity services.

HOW TO ENTER:
Submit a completed application form on our official website, including a brief (500-word) statement explaining your current cybersecurity challenges and goals. Only one entry per business will be accepted. Entries using bots or automated tools will be disqualified.

SELECTION PROCESS:
Recipients will be chosen based on merit, including:

  • Quality and clarity of the submitted cybersecurity goals.
  • Demonstrated need for cybersecurity improvements.
  • Potential impact of services on business continuity and security.

Phoenix IT Advisors' decision is final and not subject to appeal.

AWARD:
Four selected businesses will each receive complimentary cybersecurity services including:

  • A Cybersecurity Risk Assessment.
  • A customized remediation plan.
  • Up to 10 hours of implementation support from Phoenix IT Advisors.

No cash will be awarded. Services must be utilized within 60 days of the award notice. The scholarship is non-transferable and may not be exchanged or redeemed for cash.

APPLICATION DEADLINE:

All applications must be received by June 30, 2025. Recipients will be notified by July 7th, 2025.

DISCLAIMER:
All services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Phoenix IT Advisors disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The applicant assumes all responsibility and risk for the use of services provided.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
By participating, you agree to hold Phoenix IT Advisors harmless for any and all claims, losses, damages, or liabilities arising out of your participation or use of awarded services. Phoenix IT is not responsible for technical errors, lost submissions, or delays.

PUBLICITY AND MARKETING CONSENT:
Recipients agree to allow Phoenix IT Advisors to reference their business name, logo, and testimonial in marketing and promotional materials. No confidential information will be disclosed without prior written consent.

GOVERNING LAW:
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah.

MODIFICATIONS:
Phoenix IT Advisors reserves the right to modify or cancel the Program at any time without notice.
